Reminder: Operation Round Up Scholarship Deadline is Approaching

Don't wait too long to apply for the Operation Round Up Scholarship; your application should be submitted by February 19, 2010.

Operation Round Up awards two types of scholarships to assist in furthering education - the general scholarship and the veterans scholarship.  

To qualify for the general scholarship you must:

• Be a high school senior or incoming college freshman
• Have a primary residence served by Walton EMC
• Be a high school graduate or pass an equivalency exam
• Be enrolled in college or vocational-technical school in fall of 2010

To qualify for the veteran's scholarship you must:

• Be a veteran or reservist of the U.S. Armed Forces
• Have a primary residence is served by Walton EMC
• Be a high school graduate or pass an equivalency exam
• Be enrolled in college or vocational-technical school in fall of 2010
